1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Reminder Plus mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Reminder Plus ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using Reminder Plus, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

If you are under 18, you must obtain parental or guardian consent before using the Service. Parents and guardians who consent to their child's use are responsible for their child's actions.

3. User Accounts

To use Reminder Plus, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
• Maintain password confidentiality
• Accept full responsibility for activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or use
• Not share your account with others

4. License and Usage Rights

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Reminder Plus for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

• Sell, rent, lease, or transfer the Service or any account
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
• Use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Access or use the Service through automated means (except as authorized)
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Harvest or collect user data without authorization

5. Calendar Integration and Data Access

When you connect your calendar to Reminder Plus, you authorize us to access, retrieve, and process your calendar data.

You understand and agree that:

• Calendar access is limited to creating and managing reminders only
• We encrypt and securely store your calendar data
• Calendar data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing
• You can revoke access at any time through your calendar platform settings
• We comply with each platform's terms (Google, Microsoft, Apple, Calendly)

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

6.1 Free Trial

Reminder Plus offers a one-month free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all premium features.

Trial terms:

• Free trial begins upon account creation
• Trial lasts for 30 calendar days
• No credit card required to start trial
• You must add a payment method before trial ends to continue using the Service
• Trial cannot be extended or combined with other offers

6.2 Subscription Pricing

After the free trial ends, you must maintain an active subscription to use Reminder Plus. The current subscription is:

• Premium Plan: $0.99 USD per month
• Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice
• Taxes, if applicable, will be added to your invoice

6.3 Billing

Billing information and policies:

• Subscription renews automatically each billing period
• Billing occurs on the same date each month
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• You are responsible for keeping payment information current
• All charges are non-refundable except as required by law

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@reminderplus.app.

Cancellation terms:

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months or unused portions
• Your calendar data and settings may be retained briefly for recovery purposes
• You may reactivate your subscription at any time

7. Notification Services

Reminder Plus delivers reminders via various channels (voice, email, SMS, WhatsApp). You consent to receive these notifications.

Notification terms:

• Notifications depend on your device settings and connectivity
• We are not liable for missed or delayed notifications
• SMS and WhatsApp notifications may incur carrier charges
• You can manage notification preferences in account settings
• Standard message and data rates may apply

8. User Content and Calendar Events

Your calendar events, notes, and other content uploaded to Reminder Plus ("User Content") remain your property.

By using Reminder Plus, you grant us:

• A license to access, process, and store User Content as needed to provide the Service
• The right to use aggregated, anonymized data for improvement and analytics
• The right to display User Content in your account

You warrant that:

• You own or have rights to the User Content
• User Content does not violate third-party rights or laws
• User Content is not confidential or proprietary (except as noted)

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Accessing the Service without authorization
• Using the Service for illegal purposes or violating applicable laws
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Sending spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonating others or providing false information
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Collecting or scraping user data
• Interfering with Service operations
• Reselling or redistributing the Service

10. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Reminder Plus integrates with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Calendar, and Calendly. These integrations are subject to their respective terms of service.

You understand that:

• We are not responsible for third-party services or data
• Third parties may modify or discontinue their services
• You are responsible for complying with third-party terms
• We are not liable for third-party actions or policies

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reminder Plus and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your infringement of third-party rights

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we deem it necessary.

Grounds for termination include:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal activity or misuse of the Service
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Harassment or threats toward others
• Request for deletion of your account
• Inactivity for extended periods (notice provided)

15. Privacy

All content, features, and functionality of Reminder Plus (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and images) are owned by Reminder Plus or its content suppliers and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or publish any content without our prior written consent.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in the United States.

18. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting support@reminderplus.app in writing, describing the nature of the dispute and proposed resolution.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful within 30 days, you may pursue legal remedies available under law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reminder Plus regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and arrangements.
